Aside from your typical Hollywood jib jab and pre-conceived notions of surfers and their eccentric culture, there is a ubiquitous sub-genre that stems from artistic expression and the hay-days of surfing. These guys have elegantly fused the world of surfing with a passion sparked by flat spells and diverse artistic abilities – and they’re bringing it to the world via blogging.
It seems every other day I’m finding a new blog that fits this format. Surprisingly enough, most of what I’m finding is not letting me down in terms of the quality of content. These guys can write, take great pictures, build surfboards, illustrate, paint, and more – but first and foremost, they are unmistakably surfers.
