New Image Dental came to Ninthlink for a site redesign to give their site a more modern look while encouraging improved lead generation.  Already an active participant in search engine optimization (SEO), we decided to use a proven on page tactic to further increase the likelihood of a conversion, in this case a phone call or contact form submission.

Check You Out, Denny’s

Denny’s recently launched a very impressive website. Not only does it leave all the designers here feeling warm and fuzzy about a strongly designed look and feel, but it also hits all the needs of their target market and is spreading the goods by pushing social media in a big way. The “quick navigation” option and page slider is also pushing the envelope for user interaction – a bold move for a big brand. We applaud it and think that it’s quite magnum.

We are all Cyborgs

In between my Pomodoro breaks, I like to either:

  • Stare at nothing
  • Solve my Rubik’s cube for the millionth time
  • Read a tech blog

I found this a while ago, but it’s a pretty rad link:

I especially like the part about wormholes and being able to connect to somebody, anywhere. I’m a sucker for that kind of sci-fi stuff, but a cell phone as portable wormhole? Nice.

Also, having two “selfs” is a very interesting concept — your physical one and your digital one. Not only that, but having to go through adolescence again (for our digital self) blew my mind.

As far as being a Cyborg, not sure though. Might have to ask my favorite cyborg:

Local Habit, a new restaurant featuring organic food and craft beer will be opening its doors soon just a couple blocks away from our office here in Hillcrest  (yet another temptation within walking distance…fortunately it’s a healthy one).  The full website will also be coming soon, but in the mean time we’ve launched a blog to start getting the word out, which after all is one of the most important steps for any new venture.  Here are a couple steps we took (and recommend) to start promoting and stop wasting valuable time waiting until the perfect version of your site is completed and ready to go live.
