In support of ElliptiGO’s big summer promotional push, we’ve made major site updates including a new homepage, simplified navigation, rich product detail pages and highly targeted landing pages.
The Cartoon Network celebrated its 20th Birthday during this year’s Comic-Con with an art exhibition, curated by our friend Mark Murphy. Over 100 artists representing distinct creative styles were personally invited by Mark to give their take on a Cartoon Network show or character they had been paired up with. Our digital news release helped generate plenty of online buzz for the event.
Brian Lamb recently joined Ninthlink as an Interactive Designer. Specializing in all areas of graphic design as well as video production. Brian rounds out our creative team with a unique knack for motion graphics, video editing and traditional design. As a result, Ninthlink has been ramping up our focus on in-house video production. We’ve already completed numerous video projects for Qualcomm, Puradigm and Grade A Signs.
Working directly with Qualcomm’s marketing and engineering team Ninthlink animated and directed a uniquely styled video that outlines the benefits of their new HD Voice technology. Covering everything from benefits to both the operator as well as the consumer, the piece features a custom character style and robust sound design. Ninthlink was responsible for everything from ideation, art direction, illustration, animation and sound design — all completed in house.

Today’s announcement from Google is knocking our socks off with the idea that internet is coming to the masses with download speeds of 1000 mb per second. This is an astronomical step in buffing up bandwidth size and we can’t wait to try it our for ourselves and see what new goodness comes out of it. To get things started with Google Fiber, there’s a pre-registration process to get it working in your city. Today, Kansas City is the first to have it up and going. So, let’s get rallying San Diego and get our name on the list to give Google Fiber a go! And if we couldn’t be any more excited, the Google Fiber website is quite a winner with a top notch user experience complete with witty animations.
Great advice, and even greater resources for peoples interested in learning more about the mystical magic that is HTML and CSS. “Through short tutorial videos, you’ll learn how to take a basic wordpress blog and manipulate the css, html (and even some php!) to match your aesthetic.” In super clean design and super straight forward tutorial videos. I missed this one last week from Holiday Matinee, but I will certainly try to remember not to miss it this Thursday. Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. It was my first trip to NYC over July 4th, and I took a few pics of some fun art I saw while I was visiting, starting with lady liberty herself….ENJOY!
Am I allowed to take up some 937px of vertical blog post space with a rad poster? We’ll see, I guess. Props to Sezio for bringing back the Golden Hill Street Fair, next week Sunday July 22nd. With a lineup of Family Wagon, Jeans Wilder, Little Deadman, The Tree Ring, Cuckoo Chaos, and The Donkeys on the top spot, this should be a good one. Poster designed by Dylan Ousley.
This past Saturday, Ninthlink attended ISM’s 10 year celebration and accepted the ISM architect award for our contributions to the ISM Community non-profit. The anniversary festivities took place in Downtown Santa Ana at the Grand Central Art Center. ISM Co-Founder, Kevin Staniec, graciously remarked how “our arts non-profit has accomplished a lot in this decade and we couldn’t have done it without your (Ninthlink’s) support”. Ninthlink helped ISM take their primarily print based approach to promoting the arts and moved them to the web with a fresh, graphic and narrative driven website, equipped with a cms to give them full control. We couldn’t have been happier to use our passion and expertise for the web to help out ISM Community and support the arts.
