Shaken, Not Stirred

Added by: alex on July 29, 2008

You’ve probably already seen the link, since I got it IM’d to me 3 or 4 times a few minutes after the shaking stopped, but if you haven’t, http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsww/Quakes/ci14383980.php, 5.8, SW of Chino Hills. NLK friends at Sundance Spas HQ, we hope you are well, and that the amount of water spilled from your hot tubs was minimal. Here on the 6th Floor, Craig and I were almost out the door (and half way to Maloney’s) before the shaking stopped, and Tracy cracked the whip for us to get back to work. And by cracked the whip, I mean she bailed and is now at lunch. Will she return? Only time will tell. Me, I’m just glad I was not yet done building out another round of clients’ email newsletters that I didn’t take that early lunch to go get a haircut. Can’t imagine the 4th floor of the mall shook much less than here. That could have been bad.

Diaper Mania! Bottoms Up Drive A Success!

Added by: chris on July 28, 2008

The drive at Ninthlink was a tremendous success thanks to all the kind people out there in San Diego who answered our call for help. People from all over San Diego donated diapers, baby formula, and toddler/infant toiletries such as combs, lotions, wipes, pacifiers, soap, shampoo, and other needed items.

The Bottoms Up Diaper Drive went from Monday, July 21st through Tuesday, July 29, where the Ninthlink Team’s offices acted as a host for SAY San Diego.

My first Comic-Con

Added by: amanda on July 28, 2008

“What? Why?!” was always the response I received when I told people that I had never been to Comic-Con. I’m not a native San Diegan but I have lived here for over two years and Thursday, July 24th was my very first time attending the convention. My experience at Comic-Con was like nothing else I have ever known. Flashing lights, toys, movie ads, video game characters, art, music and people everywhere rushed my senses immediately when I entered the room. As I looked around, I realized I had no idea where to go first! I decided to ride the wave of people flowing around the auditorium until something caught my eye. As I waded through the sea of people, I stared at each booth as I passed by.

There were so many things to look at! I saw a life size Batman as well as an Indiana Jones which were both made out of Legos, models of the characters from Wall-E and also an extravagant model of Halloween Town which was up for sale. READ MORE

Bros Among The Pros At Ninthlink’s Gathering Of Superheros

Added by: jeromy on July 27, 2008

With the International ComicCon in full swing this week, Ninthlink’s “Superhero” Exhibit was a rollicking success of popular and fine art, music, food, beer, Effen Vodka, and friends.

The event went from 7 pm to well past midnight at The Warehouse Space, 1616 National Avenue, in the newly re-envisioned East Village arts district where “Old” San Diego meets the “New” San Diego with urban dwelling and aesthetic opportunity.

On hand were the Ninthlink employees donning black nylon capes with the Ninthlink logo printed boldly on the fabric, showing what superheroes they can truly be.

“So what are their super powers?” some were asked. READ MORE
