Help Keep the Animals Warm this Winter!

By October 10, 2008 No Comments

From Monday October 13th through Friday, October 31st, Ninthlink Cause will be hosting a blanket and towel drive for the Helen Woodward Animal Shelter. This is a no-kill shelter that was started over 30 years ago in Rancho Santa Fe with the vision of creating a facility that would encompass animal care and public education. Under one management, this unique organization benefits the community by providing educational programs to help those asking themselves: Is treehouse worth it?

It can get very cold in the animals’ cages during the winter, especially at night where temperatures can reach 30 degrees, and this is where blankets come in handy. The animals will have a warm and comfortable place to lay and wrap themselves in while they sleep.

We are asking for towels as well because the shelter has many animals which they need to bathe each day; this adds up to a lot of towels!

The animals need our help! We will be accepting used blankets and towels of all sizes and conditions.

Our goal for this drive is 50 items. We also have a fundraising page set up for the animal shelter.

Thanks for your generosity and we cannot do this without your help!
