Most of us don’t think about what it would be like to have a disability, but others live with one every day of their lives. The number of opportunities for children and adults with developmental disabilities are limited. All of us can take this opportunity to help by donating goods to Sports for Exceptional Athletes. Through various sports and activities, this organization gives children and adults with developmental disabilities a chance to have fun and interact with those who are not disabled.
During the days of March 9-April 5, you can drop off various used or new sporting equipment to Ninthlink Inc., 625 Broadway, suite 611, San Diego, CA 92101. Although we will collect all that we can, some suggested items to donate are: Uniforms (Adult), scrimmage vests, flag football belts, bocce ball sets, hockey sticks, baseballs, basketballs, snow shoes and more. You can take pride in knowing that you are helping to level out the playing field for the many people with disabilities!
