Ninthlink Launch: Double Spurs Creative

By September 30, 2011 No Comments

Former Ninthlinker, Travis Wiley, headed back to his home state of Montana to bring his passion and design skills to local businesses. Ninthlink’s web developers helped make his new site a reality.

Like many of the sites we like to create for small businesses, doublespurs.com was built using WordPress, an extremely user-friendly content management system, which makes it easy for almost anyone, regardless of online experience, to manage their own website.  From editing copy and menu items to swapping out images or blogging.

One of the great things about WordPress (besides it’s usability and being free) is the loads of customization it allows for. The ‘Browse Our Work’ section is a Custom Post Type, which is a semi technical way to explain the creation of a custom way to present content; in this case a design gallery/showcase.  Some other examples of possible uses for this type of post include real estate listings, an event calendar, a movie or book database.
