Publisher HarperCollins launched a new digital video book format with a video edition of Jeff Jarvis’s What Would Google Do?, distributed though Amazon’s digital download store. Available to instantly stream or as a download to a laptop, Tivo, or portable device, it consists of a 23-minute lecture of the Buzz Machine blogger speaking directly into the camera about what companies can learn from the mother of all search engines. At $10, that works out to be about .85 cents/minute!

For marketing innovation and savvy, we give this one a 9. And why didn’t we here at Ninthlink think of this?!
