Architecture To The Max : SafdieRabines.com Redone

Husband and wife Taal Safdie and Ricardo Rabines, and the rest of their team, do some righteous architecture work around San Diego and the world, and when they wanted a new look for their own website, they came to Ninthlink. Their requests were to keep the site super clean, while showcasing their work in the most real estate (pun intended?) possible. So that is what lead designer Craig, and myself on the development side, delivered in the new SafdieRabines.com.

It was exciting to work on a site featuring landmarks from over San Diego, too: the Robert Scripps Forum and Eleanor Roosevelt College at UCSD, the Harbor Drive Bridge downtown (pictured below), the Lake Hodges bridge off the 15 freeway, the “Scripps Crossing” bridge over La Jolla Scenic Drive…

The homepage cycles on its own… Images are automatically scaled to as much of the full width/height as the browser window allows… and the whole is built on the dynamic duo of WordPress + NextGen Gallery to give the client maximum ease & control over their new hotness. Happy Friday!
