Sushi & Networking Fundraiser for Survey Select : Narrative Art Exhibition

San Diego : Announcing the “Survey Select” sushi fundraiser organized and promoted by internationally recognized art promoter and curator, Mark Murphy and featured at Sushi On a Roll.

This open invitation fundraising event will help finance 22 community events offered over an 8-week period during the “Survey Select” art exhibition from July 15 – September 5, 2010.  Funds raised will assist in extending invitations to school programs, enrichment art programs in jeopardy due to financial instability, inner city youth and specialty groups.

This special meet and greet event will be complimented with original sushi creations prepared by Chef Jeff Roberto, fanciful desserts created by Just Taste It Catering, great cocktails by La Jolla Beverage Co., Trumer Pils and Free Run Juice : And to warm you up, great organic teas and coffees by Cafe Virtuoso.

Bring your friends and associates, join the party, promote your talent and share in the creative spirit of “Survey Select” featuring great artists, creative minds and inspired guests. You will be personally greeted by Mr. Mark Murphy and among the first to publicly hear Mr. Murphy present his “impossible” vision that has now become a reality, the force behind the revival of Narrative Art presentation in San Diego. Previous fundraisers boast networking results of many job offerings, real estate sales and connections for future business.

21 and over are welcome with a valid ID, $50 ticket price at the door includes designer sushi, desserts, organic wine, coffee and tea, prize give-a-ways and 1 drink ticket.

Auction items include Shepard Fairey Silk Screen Posters : Signed Jeff Soto and Ray Caesar Books : Art House Films Movie Packs plus there will be prize give-a-ways and swag bags.

Donations and Sponsorships:
Several “Survey Select” sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are currently available. Our goal is to raise $40,000 in community funds through corporate sponsorship, art patrons, in kind donations and community participation to maintain a safe, innovative environment open for free for 8 weeks .  All donations allocated to scholarships, workshops and community events.

“Survey Select” Narrative Art Exhibition, brings a world salon to San Diego.  “Survey Select” is a contemporary art exhibition celebrating 65 internationally renowned artists. “Survey Select” elevates the narrative tradition of storytelling with original art works, critical writings, workshops, films and community events. “Survey Select” is curated by Mark Murphy a San-Diego based film director, author, publisher, designer and Founder of The Museum of Narrative Arts actively archives world-class artists. Over the past 20 years Murphy has educated, exhibited and published living artists who celebrate the narrative arts. Artists have included: fine artists–Mark Ryden, the Clayton Brothers and musical icons–Brandon Boyd, Green Day. Murphy has published 28 fine art books and has hosted multiple exhibitions over 12 years.
